Designed by Philippe STARCK, this now chic and stylish boutique hotel was once a parking lot! Yet another proof of the great power of building recycling. MAMA SHELTER is located in one of my favorite districts in Paris, le XXème arrondissement, and across the street from La Fleche d’Or, simply the best music venue in east Paris. Room prices start from 79 euros , which seems rather reasonable. Cannot wait to go back to Paris and indulge at least one night.

Graffiti+the ultimate love story+period furniture = Verona

Verona by Anna James. Inspired by her visit to Juliet's House in Verona, Italy, Anna took a series of digital images of the graffiti covering the walls at the archway entrance, all of it being declarations of love by visiting lovers from all over the world. She then transposed the images onto her period pieces.
